Did anyone watch the new harry Potter ‘Harry Potter and the half-blood prince”? What did you feel about it? If you are the fan of Harry Potter, I think you will feel a bit disappointed when you see this movie. It is different from the story on the book. I mean that they had cut many parts before it is a movie, so it is boring. For example, in the end of this version, they have a big fight between the Howards’s students and teachers with the people who belong to Voldermor. On the other hand, Snape just use his wonder and kill Dumblerbre. However, I feel funnier in the movie because they love each other and express their feeling on their face so good such as Ron and another girl. To end up my opinion about Harry Potter, I have a question that Snape is good or bad.

My hometown & Vancouver

Before arriving to Vancouver, I was very worried about changing the living condition, and weather there, but I think I made a right decision because have seen many similarities between my hometown, Delta, and Vancouver, where I live now. First, the weather in Vancouver is wonderful for me since it is the same with my hometown except winter. Especially, both of them have a lot of rain, and a bit cold even though summer time. Second, not only Vancouver but also Delta is being complained so boring by young people, yet I like that. For instance, you can just go to coffee shop or walk around Delta at night. Moreover, if you are in Vancouver, you will eat out with your friends or come to a bar or club. I do not know why my friends often talk about how bore these cities are, but for me it is enough. Finally, I am very interested in the streets which trees are put alongside. Delta has almost pine tree instead of cherry, maple trees in Vancouver. In my opinion, Vancouver’s streets are more beautiful than Delta, but I miss the pine tree’s street in my hometown. In conclusion, everything which I had worried before was not necessary. Considerable similarities in Vancouver with my hometown help me so much on the way get used to living here.

The secret to long life: deprivation

If you know how to limit the calorie in your meal, you will be able to live longer and have a better health than others. That is what I learn from this news. The scientists have been studying about monkeys, which are much similar with human. The research started in 1989 with 30 nature adult rhesus macaques, which usually die at the average 27 year olds, and 45 more after five years. They are fed enough vitamins, minerals, other nutrients but still have a diet. After a period of time, the researcher said that the monkeys who have a diet can live longer than the others thirty percent. Otherwise, it can also decrease tumours, heart disease, diabetes, and have a better IQ. However, the monkeys often have shorter lifespan than humans, so they think this study may not fix for people. Also, they are not sure that either human can cut off their food when they feel hungry or not because the animals can not ask for food as same as human. In conclusion, people still want to have long lifetime, so they continue to process, and also find some drugs to expand lifespan.

I choose this topic since I think I and everyone want to live longer and healthy, so you might interested in this one. In my opinion, having a good diet we can stay healthy, but to live longer we need to eat the right food, and exercise everyday. No chemicals can be better than that. In my case, I believe that I will die soon as I am so lazy to exercise.

traditional clothes

As I promised in the last two days, today I'm glad to tell you about Vietnamese traditional clothes, and some more about my hometown.

Vietnamese tranditional clothes id a bit similar with one of Chinese tranditional because at first that clothing came from china. In my opinion, when you see a women wear "ao dai" with "non la", you will see the sharp of Viet nam which is "S". Therefore, it become our culture. "Ao dai" is not only beautiful, but also sexy.(smile). In vietnam, people wear it everyday, and everytime.

We use it to go to work, school, weeding, and some important days.
This picture show you what high school student wear in my country. It is both traditional clothes and uniform. I worn it four years in my high school, and it was very uncomformtable for me at that time, but now I want to wear it again. They wear it with many colors, but for student, we must wear white color.

I show you some more beautiful places in my hometown if you want to visit them. In my last entry, I forgot to tell you some information about Dalat, so I do it now.

Da lat is dicorveried by a French. It is located in Lamvien highland, and 1500 meter above the sea level, so eventhough Vietnam is a tropical country, Dalat has a moderate temperate around 18-22 celsius. I think it is a perfect climate to live.

If you have some question, just let me know. I will answer in my next post, and I am going to feel you on in Hochiminh city( Saigon) which is my second hometown. do you belive me that I have tow hometowns?

My name is Kate. For sure, I am a lazy person because when I have free time, I just want to

Every week I will show you one city. In this first week, let's know about a small city, Dalat, where I studied high school and university.

PREN WATERPALL

Dalat is a beautiful place with many waterfalls, pagodas, and schools.

Xuanhuong lake is located in the certer of dalat. If you come to Dalat, you must know it. In there, you can walk or sit in a coffee shop to breath the fresh air, and see poeple fishing. I used to do that because it help me relax so good.

Pren waterfall is so far away from dalat's downtown. It take you more than 30munits by car to come there from Xuanhuong lake. What do you think about this waterfall when you see the photo? In my opinion, you had better to visite this scenery when you go to dalat.
