My hometown & Vancouver
the picture is here
Before arriving to Vancouver, I was very worried about changing the living condition, and weather there, but I think I made a right decision because have seen many similarities between my hometown, Delta, and Vancouver, where I live now. First, the weather in Vancouver is wonderful for me since it is the same with my hometown except winter. Especially, both of them have a lot of rain, and a bit cold even though summer time. Second, not only Vancouver but also Delta is being complained so boring by young people, yet I like that. For instance, you can just go to coffee shop or walk around Delta at night. Moreover, if you are in Vancouver, you will eat out with your friends or come to a bar or club. I do not know why my friends often talk about how bore these cities are, but for me it is enough. Finally, I am very interested in the streets which trees are put alongside. Delta has almost pine tree instead of cherry, maple trees in Vancouver. In my opinion, Vancouver’s streets are more beautiful than Delta, but I miss the pine tree’s street in my hometown. In conclusion, everything which I had worried before was not necessary. Considerable similarities in Vancouver with my hometown help me so much on the way get used to living here.

  4. Hi, Kate. Is your hometown's full name Mekong Delta? I thought everywhere in Vietnam is much hotter than in Vancouver's summer, but it seems as you mentioned here little bit cold in summer. Maybe because it's close to ocean. I've vietnamies friend and he invites me to visit his country offen even he's living now in Paris, French. Now, for sure I'll be visiting your hometown while traveling in Vietnam.

helen, angel- i think each person will have different thinking, feeling or opinion about one thing.
mark, i though the winter in korea is much colder than here, but you stil hate winter. what's wrong?
ernie- sorry! i spell my homecity wrong. i think i have already tell you that my hometown locates in a moutant, so the weather is a bit cold. therefore, many people come to Dalat on summer time to avoid the hot weather. welcome to vietnam, and my hometown, so that you will see i did not lie.

  6. Nice topic of compare two cities between you hometown and vancouver, in fact, i feel the same thing with you. When i have been living in vancouver for 1 month, i feel a lot of rain, but the weather is really good, especially for summer. It has beautiful beach, and the sky keep bright until 10pm which is really good. Moreover, the environment is clear, we can see green trees and flowers..... vancouver also has a lot of good club and bar, but i nerver been there, i should go next time.
